Languages: English (British and U.S.)
Mac OS X, 10.1 or later
1 MB HD space
De-Localization
Applimizer can remove language localizations that you are not using. If you only ever use English, all the other languages only use up megabytes of disk space.
Help File Optimization
Embedded Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) help documents contain a lot more information than is actually shown. Using a clever optimization technique, these files can be reduced in size without changing their visual appearance.
String File Optimization
These files contain texts such as warning messages. Virtually all of these files are unnecessarily big and can therefore be reduced.
User Interface File Optimization
Used by Cocoa applications to define their windows (NIB files). Again, there is redundant space that can be removed from these files.
Classic Code Removal
If an application contains both Classic and Native code, you can remove the Classic code using Applimizer.
Removal of Temporary Finder Files
When browsing the contents of an application package in the Finder, a number of temporary files are created. None of these are required and can be safely removed by Applimizer.
What is Applimizer?
It is a utility that optimizes Mac OS X applications. It reduces the size of embedded text files or removes language files for foreign languages. Optimization results can be previewed in a statistical overview:

How do I use Applimizer?
You open your chosen target applications in Applimizer. They will be analyzed and the results are previewed in the main window.
You can optimize applications one-by-one or all at once. The different optimization techniques can be enabled or disabled on the fly.
Embedded plug-ins, frameworks or other bundles are optimized as well.
